Hotel Djenne Djenno

Hôtel Djenné Djenno is a modern and elegant interpretation of Malian style, entirely built from mud and decorated by its owner Sophie Sarin, a Swedish artist and interior designer, who has used the ancient West African textile tradition ‘Bogolan’ to create the charming interiors of the hotel.

A spacious and flourishing garden surrounds a comfortable bar and restaurant, providing a welcome and unexpected oasis for weary travellers to relax a couple of days, while discovering the wonders of Djenné, and perhaps the surrounding villages with our horse and carriage.
